Go to learning.umn.edu and click learner login in the top right corner. If you have previously participated in an activity with the Office of Continuing Professional Development, use the email registered as the username. If you have issues logging into your account, contact our office at
cme@umn.edu or 612-626-7600 or 1-800-776-8636.

*Not all activities have registration through OCPD, please check www.cme.umn.edu for activities with registration through OCPD.

How do I create a guest account to register for an activity if I am not a University of Minnesota employee?

Go to www.cme.umn.edu, select an activity and click Register Online. When prompted to login, proceed with I’m New to the University or with Create a Guest Account. You will be prompted to fill out required information to register. It works best when Google Chrome or Mozilla FireFox is used.

You will receive a confirmation email. You can also access your registration information by logging into your account through learning.umn.edu and learner login in the top right corner. If you did not receive your confirmation, please check your spam folder.

How do I access my verification of participation and credits earned?

Go to learning.umn.edu and click learner login in the top right corner. Click to login into your existing account. Select My Enrollment History and under my completed courses, click Print next to the course and select Statement of Grade. Or select My Conference History and under completed conferences, click Print next to the conference and select Statement of Activity Credits. Please note that these printable reports do not include complete accreditation and credit designation statements that may be needed for re-licensure or re-certification.

How can I receive a duplicate Statement of Participation?

You may receive a duplicate copy of the statement of participation or participation tracking worksheet. If the statement of participation that you are requesting is one-year post activity, a $25 service fee will apply per copy (allow up to three days for processing) or $35 for same-day processing. Order online with a credit card, or return the completed order form with payment.

Location information can be found by going to www.cme.umn.edu, selecting Live Activities under Learning Activities Tab. Select the activity you plan on attending and look under location. A week before the activity occurs, an email will be sent to all registered participants with location, agenda, course materials and parking information.

If there is a room block arranged for an activity, the information will be located on the activity information page under the Location tab. Please contact the hotel directly to make reservations.

If presentation and conference materials are posted online, access information will be provided via final details email a week prior to the activity date. All presentation will be available for one month post activity date.

In order to register a group, please fill out the group registration form. Once the form is completed, email the registration group form with a check or email the group registration form to cme@umn.edu and arrange a time to provide payment information.

Special needs can be indicated when registering for an activity. If you missed the special needs field, please email cme@umn.edu with your special needs request as well as the activity you will be attending. Please note requests cannot always be honored on-site.

How can I obtain Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits/points for my participation in an activity?

How can I obtain Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits/points for my participation in an activity?

Not all activities offer MOC. The accreditation details will note the types of credit being offered, including MOC availability. If MOC is available, there will be instructions provided regarding MOC eligibility and reporting.

My profession is not in the conference information. Can I attend? Can I get credit for attending?

The activity description includes the target audience the activity was developed for. Registration is not limited to those professions, but it is important for you to consider your professional scope of practice and whether or not the activity is relevant to your specific role. If your profession is not listed, please contact your licensing board to determine your continuing education requirements and check for reciprocal approval. All attendees will receive a Statement of Participation.
