The Quality Improvement Collaborative
The Quality Improvement (QI) Collaborative provides healthcare leaders from across our system with a unique opportunity to participate (as a member of a dyad team) in a tailored six-month QI curriculum focused on a real-time QI project. This innovative program is designed to ensure participants are able to apply key QI principles, tools and methods to a relevant QI project with guidance from experienced QI/Performance Improvement (QI/PI) coaches. This collaborative program will help clinical leaders and staff build QI knowledge and skills as we work to become a top performing academic medical center. The program consists of five monthly modules and culminates with a final project presentation to include the executive sponsors of the projects. The program requires participants commit to project work outside of class time for an estimated 32 hours per month. Dyad teams will be partnered with a QI/PI Coach for the entire program to support their quality improvement project.
